Mental resistance lab

Let the past stay behind you

Mission

Help yourself so that you can  help others

The Mental Resistance Lab (MRL) is a place for practical experimentation into understanding detrimental versus productive mental states. The main mission is to help individuals remove unnecessary blocks in their personal development to increase their perceived capacity to a level closer to their real potential.

The MRL promotes mental stability, healthy coping habits, connection to others and single focus on productive endeavors. The lab is a research endeavor on finding out which ideas and exercises are helpful and universal enough so that when applied directly to people's lives, an undeniable change occurs with measurable positive results. This search can be preempted by eliminating unuseful mental frameworks (limiting beliefs, critical voices and unhealthy coping mechanisms), and inserting productive systems instead.

In essence, we don't have to be the outcome of childhood experiences, we don't have to succumb to horrible memories, we don't have to carry generational trauma, we don't have to doubt ourselves. People can change, patterns can be broken and momentum can be reversed. This is what the Mental Resistance Lab believes and promotes.

"Imagine if stress would build you up, imagine if difficulty would show you how to progress... imagine living with love of faith"

Intervention process

Action based

If nothing changes, nothing changes and change can only happen through action. In its interventions, the MRL encourages action and practice over theory. No matter the size of every step what matters is direction and steady progress. MRL's intervention architecture facilitates the tools that build a stable and self-reinforcing framework of positive change.

Honest conversations deliver self-knowledge. Accountability delivers power. Discipline delivers competence.

Program

The program is designed to host individual interventions that are focused on quantifying actions and take a systematic approach to changing behavior and negative habits. This program guides and supports the development of a personal "flourishing system", which is a personal language of meaning and habits that are oriented at personal development.

1

Sessions

One to one sessions of personal and dedicated attention with special focus on the discussion of current symptoms.

2

Modules

Theoretical foundation of the required behavioral change and introduction of new ideas.

3

Exercises

Week long activity that requires energy and documentation. The most practical aspect of the intervention
